Rhonda Aikman Arrested for Public Intoxication

Rhonda Aikman, Fox announcer and ex-wife of former Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Troy Aikman, was arrested for public intoxication, which is a Class C misdemeanor. The offense carries a $269.00 fine. Ms. Aikman released a statement through her attorney explaining that the incident stemmed from her sitting in her vehicle and being surprised at being approached by police. She claimed that she was carrying a prescription medication in a bottle in her purse. It sounds like the lady doth protest too much for carrying a simple prescription medication in her purse if that’s all there was to it.
