Portland police were called out to the City’s Burnside Bridge when 13 bearded men wearing camouflage gear were spotted. One of the men was carrying an assault rifle, which led to the police action. The men explained that they were heading to a photo shoot to raise money for breast cancer being held on the other side of the bridge at the time, and that the images would be used in a Beards for Breasts calendar. The idea of raising money was a sound one, but the police probably should been informed in advance.
